Eating Out: Cafe Noir, Bengaluru

I visited Cafe Noir on my recent trip to Bangalore after over three people asking me to add it to my ‘must visit’ spots in Bangalore. Located in the luxurious UB City Mall, the ambience of Cafe Noir is nothing fancy, since it is a part of the food court, but is quite casual and ideal for a relaxed meal, typical bistro-like. Started by a french monsieur, the cafe has a menu that comprises of sandwiches, quick bites, salads and a limited range of mains. The service is very warm and friendly and is well-informed about the menu. We tried the grilled beef which was cooked well. I was a little disappointed with the potion size though. For desserts, we tried the Triple Chocolate Ganache and the Mango Tart. The ganache was delicious, transported me to France. The mango tart looked pretty, like a piece of the sun, bright yellow! And it was the best bet as it was seasonal. Have also heard that their sandwiches and quiches are delicious. Looking forward to trying them next time around.
