Where To Stay: Citadines Central Shinjuku, Tokyo

Planning a trip to Tokyo? You are going to be as confused as us while booking the stay. Here’s hoping that this post will help you a tad bit! Our 3 day stay at Citadines Central was nothing less than amazing; warm service and perfect location.

Booking: We made a booking online two weeks before our visit. The booking process was smooth, the staff at the reservation desk could speak english so the entire check in process was a breeze.

Travel: Citadines Central is approximately a 5 minute walk from Shinjuku Metro Station. It is extremely convenient to get there and the location is quite amazing considering the entire street is awake till the wee hours of the morning.

Hotel: The Hotel was decent with plenty of dining and entertainment options around. The rooms are small, but quite spacious for Japan standards, comfortable nonetheless. All the floors had vending machines incase you need a midnight snack.

The reception area had plenty of tourist books, maps, travel guides to help you move around in Japan. There is free wifi at the hotel. Everything about the hotel was just about comfortable.

Room Tip: Choose a non smoking room on an upper level.

Getting There: Take a flight to Tokyo and hop on a metro train, get off at Shinjuku Station and walk down two lanes to reach here.
